Casement  Window

Easy to clean and operate, our vinyl casement windows open outward to 90° with a crank handle. The improved air flow is complemented by triple-sealing for outstanding energy efficiency and protection from the elements. These windows also offer improved security thanks to premium Roto locking systems.

These windows are manufactured with the highest number of internal air chambers, earning them ENERGY STAR status while maximizing structural integrity.

Mechanism

The casement window mechanism includes a robust arm that allows the window to open up to 90° and two support arms on the top and bottom of the window for improved stability.

Lock

A single lock on the side of the window can lock up at up to 5 points by using a high-precision locking rod that pushes the window tight against the window frame and creates an air and water tight barrier.

FEATURES

  • We build our vinyl windows with a high number of internal air chambers for superior insulation, thermal efficiency, sturdiness and sound abatement.

  •

  • Maintenance-free PVC jamb extensions, corner blocks and frame moldings provide added flexibility for interior finishing.

  •

  • Fusion-welded corners enhance the appearance of the window while eliminating the need for sealants and adhesives. The flawless surface is entirely airtight and watertight.

  •

  • We also weld internal walls to boost the structural integrity of our vinyl windows.

  •

  • Our sealed glass units have an overall thickness of 13/16”. Most of our window styles allow you to choose between different glazing types and thicknesses. These include single, double, triple and Low-E glazing, as well as a decorative glazing that ranges from 3/4” to 1-1/8”.

GLASS

Our Low-E glass from Cardinal CG is specially engineered to minimize solar heat gain, lower home energy costs, transmit more natural light and provide year-round comfort.

Available with a Low-E glass coating for optimal performance, our triple-pane windows provide market-leading energy efficiency with high levels of visible light transmittance.

Low-E Glass

Low emissivity glass, or Low-E glass, is a strategic choice for lowering your home energy costs all-year-round. In winter, Low-E glass cuts down on heat loss by reducing radiant heat transfer and reflecting interior heat back into your room, where it needs to be. It also efficiently dispenses the sun’s rays—allowing more of them to enter the home as usable solar energy. This provides extra warmth while minimizing reliance on heating, which can account for up to 60% of a home’s energy costs.

In summer the same principle applies but the effect is reversed. Low-E glass windows help reduce the flow of hot air into the cool interior. This specially formulated coating also reduces the effects of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are a leading cause of premature fading and degradation of fabrics and carpeting.

We are proud to use Cardinal CG glass for all of our Low-E glass windows. These products combine outstanding thermal performance with high levels of visible light transmission, for windows that deliver value and comfort.

SUPER SPACER

All of our glass options use the “Super Spacer” dual-seal insulating glass spacer for optimal thermal performance and technical integrity.

Traditional single-seal units rely on one type of sealant to perform two very different and very important functions. But the all-foam Super Spacer combines two specially formulated sealants into a single unit. The structural foam acts as an adhesive to keep the entire unit together through a variety of temperature changes. The barrier sealant, meanwhile, drastically reduces heat and cold loss at the edges of the window’s insulating glass, which prevents condensation. In a poorly sealed unit, this extra moisture could damage the entire window assembly, leading to stained wood, peeled paint, rotting frames, mold and a variety of other problems.

Features and Benefits of the Super Spacer

  • Lowest U-Value for dual-seal systems in the industry

  • Promotes comfortable interior humidity in all seasons

  • Helps block heat from escaping or entering through the glass edge

  • Provides powerful adhesion for longer lasting windows

  • Unparalleled resistance to mold and condensation

  • Optimal thermal performance for greater energy efficiency
